SCHOOLS AND PARTICIPANTS
The project’s participants are generally schools and particularly youngsters between 11 and 16 years old. More than 6000 youngsters from more than 150 schools have already taken part.
TEAMS
This European project is only possible through the involvement and engagement of all its actors; it is a work of teams that depend on each other and interact on different scales.
CITIES AND PUBLIC SPACES
The project converts the history of places into sources of questioning and educational platforms to create dialogues and debates around contemporary issues of living together.
THES BEITS
These demountable wooden modules, called Beits, create a space for study and concentration in the heart of the urban space; one of the innovations of the project.
PARTNERS AND SUPPORTS
The project would not be possible without the participation of local, European or international partners and supports. The trust they place in the project is essential to us.
THE HISTORY OF THE PROJECT
The project was born following a study led by the architect David Stoleru on the potential of the urban space and particularly the sites of historical heritage.

CHILD PROTECTION
The Beit Project is committed to protecting children and adolescents from abuse, exploitation and neglect at all times, in the conduct of business and in leadership and coordination teams. The Beit Project in its very pedagogy and during debates and research with young people, does in-depth activities on the subjects of abuse, exclusion, gender equality, human rights, domination / slavery, freedom of expression and works on individual responsibility, awareness of self and the other, and the freedom to think and be. We believe that by these same values, the project makes it possible to fight against the exploitation and the child abuse and in general, proposes the benevolence of the ones towards the others and works for a total respect of the individual rights. Team members are chosen after rigorous selection and specific training in this regard before each project.
