După trei săptămani intense de sesiuni și încă o săptămână de editari video, a sosit momentul mult așteptat. Pe data de 11 iunie am avut ocazia de a vedea rodul muncii elevilor, profesorilor și a echipei The Beit Project.

În ciuda provocărilor întâlnite, elevii nu s-au data bătuți nici în fața ploii și nici a refuzului trecătorilor, de a participa la interviuri. Nimic nu i-a oprit în atingerea obiectivelor propuse.

Suntem deosebit de încântați că la prima ediție a poiectului „The Beit Project” au participat 6 școli, reprezentare de 173 de elevi. Varietarea temelor a fost impersionantă, dintre care amintim: liberatrea de exprimare, curajul, sacrificiul, eroismul, patriotismul, divesitarea lingvistică, preocuparea pentru generațiile viitoare, toleranța, revolta, libertatea, comemorarea, încălzirea globală, educația, prietenia. Aceste teme și multe altele au stat la baza celor 40 de videoclipuri filmate și editate de către elevi. Alegerea a doar 9 montaje din totalul de 40 a fost o sarcină extrem de dificilă pentru echipa de proiect, știind cât de mult a muncit fiecare echipă.

A fost o deosebită onoare să o avem alături de noi pe domna Florentina Nițu, decanul Facultații de Istorie a Universității București și un public de aproximativ 200 de persoane, format din elevi, profesori, directorii școlilor și nu în ultimul rând părinți.

After three intensive weeks of sessions and another one of editing, the great moment came. On the 11^th of June, we had the opportunity to see the results of all the pupils, teachers and The Beit Project’s team efforts.

Despite the challenges we have encountered, pupils proved that neither the bad weather nor the “NO” of the people is going to stop them from reaching their goals.

We are pleased that at the first edition of “The Beit Project” in Bucharest participated 6 schools represented by 173 pupils. The variety of the topics discussed was impressing: Freedom of speech, Courage, Sacrifice, Heroism, Patriotism, Language diversity, Concern for the future of generation, Tolerance, Revolt, Rebellion, Liberty, Commemoration, Global warming, Education, Friendship. 40 videos were filmed and edited by the pupils with the help of facilitates. Choosing only 9 videos to be presented during the final event, it was a difficult task for the team members.

It was a great honour to have with us Mrs Florentina Nițu, the Dean of the Faculty of History from the University of Bucharest and an audience of almost 200 people (pupils, teachers, school’s headmasters and parents).
