Nina Chastel
Made up of the desire to meet people and pass on knowledge, in my suitcase,are radio, documentary films, literature and geopolitics: tools that I use while coordinating and leading cultural projects in various associative structures. After training in geopolitics at the Institut de Recherche et d'études Méditerranée Moyen-Orient (Iremmo), I collaborated with magazines specializing in the Mediterranean and the Middle East, and as co-coordinator joined the Beit Project team, which I discovered by facilitating sessions in Marseille over the past two years.
Yasmina Lansman
With degrees in law and anthropology, I'm from Brussels, the daughter of a Belgian-Moroccan couple. The fact that I'm of mixed race quickly gave me the urge to go beyond the question of my origins to imagine a world without borders, where I could feel at home anywhere. Travel quickly became an integral part of my personal and professional life. Working as a humanitarian in conflict and post-conflict countries, I quickly became disillusioned by the deadly effect of wars, which often feed on fear and racism. Back in Brussels, I wanted to make a small contribution to a fairer and more inclusive city. So I worked as a social worker I worked as a social worker on projects for vulnerable groups such as common-law prisoners and migrants. Recently, I felt the need to pass on the values of tolerance and solidarity values of tolerance and solidarity to new generations. That's why I'm delighted to be coordinating the 2024 edition of The Beit Project in Brussels.
