Marseille: A Wonderful Showcase Evening Highlighting Students’ Work

The public showcase of the Marseille edition of the Nomadic School took place on Friday, April 30, at the Gastaut Amphitheatre within Aix-Marseille University. The evening was opened by Valérie Caraguel from CIVIS, who introduced this moment of exchange and celebration of the work carried out by the students throughout the project.

The event brought together the six participating schools, the middle school students involved in the program, and their families, who came to discover the films created during this collective journey. The screening highlighted the students’ creativity, engagement, and reflections on the many themes explored over the course of the year.

Throughout the event, teachers and students took the floor to share their experiences and perspectives on the project. This edition also spotlighted a key partner, the Citadel of Marseille, which hosted the project activities throughout the year. Represented by Mathilde Rubinstein, the Citadel emphasized the importance of cultural and educational partnerships in supporting young people in their creative processes and civic engagement.

The City of Marseille was also represented for this important occasion. We were delighted to welcome Marie Batoux and Amine Kessaci, who came to commend the students’ commitment and highlight the value of such cultural and civic initiatives.
