After six months of training and socio-educational workshops in Bastia, Marseille, and Tangier, the Nomadic School of the Mediterranean has wrapped up for the year !
The closing event took place on May 15th in Marseille — a perfect moment to celebrate this incredible project that brought together over 400 students from France, Morocco, and Corsica. Led by a multicultural team, the workshops turned urban — and Mediterranean — spaces into tools for fighting discrimination.
What remains from this journey are unforgettable memories : bursts of laughter, moments of panic, and immense joy shared with our partners and our amazing team of volunteers. Getting to know Amine, Melinda, Rim, Soren, and Thanae, supporting them and working side by side, has truly been a beautiful and meaningful experience.
Bringing the Nomadic School to life in the Kasbah of Tangier, the Old Port of Marseille, and the Citadel of Bastia was always a doorway to new discoveries, encounters, and rich lessons.
Co-creating this project with the local organizations that hosted us was a real privilege—we’re endlessly grateful for the knowledge and sensitivity they brought to it.
Meeting the students, exchanging with their teachers, and taking on collective writing exercises and shared creative efforts together—that’s what inspires us to keep dreaming up bold projects that nurture community and connection.
Once again, with deep gratitude and joy, we want to thank everyone who made this Nomadic School in the Mediterranean possible.
