The Beit Project’s objective is the recognition and integration of cultural and social diversity as an inherent part of our European society and source of its richness.
The project seeks to use the historical experience of the Jewish communities, through places of heritage related to it, to reflect on contemporary issues that raise in the urban space. The project includes different phases, involving complementary audiences:

  1. workshops for young college students – A multidisciplinary trainer experience in heritage places.
  2. Temporary architectural installation in the public space involving the inhabitants and users of the neighbourhood.
  3. A cultural and social event around the questioning on the contemporary meaning of historical heritage with the participation of college students, city inhabitants and implication of cultural and political actors.
